Just changing my website theme today. Also need to add some more paintings in the shop. Later I get to go swimming in Soap Lake where there is mineral water! Can't wait to get in that relaxing water...
Going through a great time of creativity spurting and am learning to be a bit more disciplined in painting regularly, keeping up on making connections and being encouraged in my spiritual life. What are your experiences lately in these areas? I hope you are being encouraged.
Ok now what is new here? So far I only have about 10 or so of my paintings added to the shop section but a lot more in the Art Slideshow and Gallery section. Will continue to work on this even though I don't know if anyone has read my blog here yet. Just finished my first larger totally abstract painting. Or at least I think it is finished. It started out as an acrylic pour painting but I decided to add a yellow glaze over it to unify the colors and brighten it up. Hopefully the painting feels calming making you want to fall into some pleasant dreams.
So this is what it is like to create a professional art website... exciting! But there are a lot of things to figure out and consider like how to make it the most user friendly for you for one. The technical stuff takes a lot of time and effort. Then there is the creative side. So many decisions for me to make even about which artwork to list first since I have hundreds of paintings and images. It will all take a lot more time than I originally thought but it will be worth it I am sure. Don't forget to ask me if there is something I have missed that you are interested in so I can work on that first and please check back for updates! I am really looking forward to getting to know you better. Be sure to bookmark this page for updates!
Welcome to my art blog! My name is Jane Schleppenbach. I would like to share with you and encourage you in your own creativity as I share my journey with you. I have taken many college art classes and also learn from videos, magazines and my own experimentation. Hopefully, we can share each other's experiences in art and creativity for mutual encouragement. I have been painting for many years and have sold a lot of my work online, at art fairs and to private parties across the US and some overseas but am always open to positive improvement and love to explore new areas. I am really looking forward to interact with you here and get to know you. Feel free to comment!
